While we invite everyone to be a part of DIFFUSEROOTS the network events and projects are organized by a core group of writers, artists, and curators. We are a diverse group with a variety of tastes, backgrounds, and artistic styles. Which is reflected in the verity of topics and opportunities we promote. While each of us may spin our overall goals slightly different, we all come together to make art more accessible and foster connections with emerging artists and their local community.

Our eventual goal is to be able to spread DIFFUSEROOTS as wide as possible but we also understand that having a strong and supportive structure means starting small and local. We are happy to have the support organizations, like the Ventura Bell Arts Factory and Santa Barbara’s Brooks Institute, as well as the enthusiastic participation of our featured artists and students who produce quality work on short notice.
