Pinhole Camera Exhibit Call for Entery
In support of Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day DIFFUSEROOTS would like to announce an additional opportunity for participants. If you are so inclined, take a picture of your handmade pinhole camera and submit it along with a picture taken with the camera, using the form below.
An Ode to Pinhole Day
We at DR have been participating in Worldwide Pinhole Day individually for the past few years. We have an appreciation for the beautiful simplicity of the pinhole camera, and the process of building your own camera grounds a photographer in the fundamental essence of photographic image-making. We want to celebrate not just the pinhole photograph but all of the diverse types of cameras creative minds can devise and dexterous hands can produce. We want to see what kinds of pinholes you can construct! From the simplest box with a hole to the most elaborate cameras ever conceived, the possibilities are virtually limitless. We will select our favorites and display them in an online gallery for all to see. Winners will also have the opportunity to be featured on our homepage and considered for inclusion in future DIFFUSEROOTS showcases.
Submission Guidelines
To be selected, submissions must include an image of your handmade pinhole camera and an example image taken with the camera (which can be the image you submitted for Worldwide Pinhole Day).
