Daryl Peveto

Biography
Daryl Peveto is a photographer with a passion for social documentary storytelling. He is a graduate of the Visual Journalism Program at Brooks Institute. Over the last few years he has worked on a range of projects ranging from American nomads to the black market economies of Peru to LA’s music scene. His work has been recognized by PDN, Fraction Magazine and F8. He lives in Southern California with his wife Jennifer and their son Finn Maddox. His clients include TIME, Newsweek, FADER Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, AARP, Der Spiegel, Verdens Gang and US News & World Report. He is a member of the photo cooperative LUCEO, which specializes in long form documentary projects. He is currently working on two new projects: Food+Community , which look at issues of diet and health in America and how ideas of localism and sustainable agriculture are growing and strengthening local communities and making us healthier in the process; and (re)SOURCE, a look at we collect, manage and use energy resources.
